Authorising a trust user
A trusted user is someone you can trust to upload and edit the content in your records in Lingnan Scholars. Once setup, your trusted user will be able to see/edit your complete profile on your behalf. You can add one or multiple trusted users as you need.
Before starting, check that your trusted user already has a Lingnan Scholars account. Contact the Library Scholarly Communication Team at scholars@LN.edu.hk if you need to add a new user.
1. Login to Lingnan Scholars, click your username on the top right corner
2. A pop-up window will appear. Select Trusted Users on the left side of the window to open the menu.
3. To add a trusted user (You can add as many trusted users as required):
Click the Add user icon.
Type the name of the staff member you want to add.
When the staff member appears in the list, click on their name to select them.
4. Click Save to save your changes. 
1. Login to Lingnan Scholars, click your username on the top right corner
2. A pop-up window will appear. Select Trusted Users on the left side of the window to open the menu.
3. Click on the minus sign beside your trusted user.
4. Click Save to save your changes.
1. Log in Lingnan Scholars
2. Click the Switch User button on the top right to switch to the host account
3. You now have the same editing rights as the host account owner
4. To switch back to your own account, click Switch User button on the top right corner again
