Step 2: Add Your Current and Past Email Addresses
1. Login to your ORCID record
2. Locate "Emails" section on the left hand side of the page (i.e. under your name and ORCID iD)

3. Click pencil icon on the left to add your alternate Lingnan email (if any), your personal email and your past email addresses

Note: You'll need set one as your primary for receiving infrequent system messages from ORCID.
Associating multiple email addresses does two things: you may conveniently log in with any of them, and it prevents the creation of a duplicate account by yourself or your employer.

Step 4: Add Your Publications
By default, the integration between your Lingnan Scholars and ORCID account will activate the synchronization of research outputs from Lingnan Scholars to ORCID.
You're also welcome to add your publication data via the following ways:

1. Search & Link : Link your works from another system, including Airiti, BASE (Bielefeld Academic Search Engine), CrossRef, DataCite, Deutsche Nationalbibliothek (DNB), Europe PubMed Central, HAL, ISNI, Japan Link Center (JaLC), MLA International Bibliography, Redalyc, Research Data Australia, ResearcherID, Scopus Author ID

2. Add works using an identifier: You can add a work using any of the following identifiers: DOI (not ISTIC and CNKI), ArXiv, or PubMed ID.

A box will appear enabling you to enter the relevant ID.

Once you have entered the identifier, the Add work form will be pre-populated with the work’s data. Please check and manually add any missing fields as needed.

3. Import BibTeX : Import a BibTeX file of your works

4. Add manually : Manually type in information about your works

Step 5: Edit Your Publications
Works that you have added to your record (manually or via BibTeX) can be edited. Click the pencil icon to edit the publication data if you find necessary.

Works added by another source, such as being linked from another system, cannot be edited directly. Those works will have a copy and edit icon. Clicking on this will create a copy of the information added by the third party source which you can edit. This copy will then be saved as a new version of the work with you as the source.

Only works that have an external identifier can be copied, works that do not have an external identifier will show a gray copy and edit icon.

To remove a work from your record, click on the trash can icon in the bottom right corner of the box around the work. If you have multiple versions of a work, you will need to delete each version individually. The Bulk edit option can also be used to delete works.
