Sharing Published Data

If you would like to share an unpublished dataset, please refer to this guide for sharing unpublished datasets.

Published datasets can be shared using the DOI (Digital Object Identifier), which can be found in the blue box on each dataset page.

In addition to sharing via DOI, it is recommended to include a Data Availability Statement (DAS) in your publication. Increasingly requested by funders and publishers, a DAS is a brief description that indicates the availability and accessibility of the data associated with a publication. Here are some guidelines from major publishers on writing a DAS:
