Research Data Management

A comprehensive guide to the best practices for planning, collecting, working with, sharing and reusing research data

Data Sharing

Researchers can choose to share their data after the completion of a research project. Open data is the key to improve research visibility. It also benefits the whole research community by accelerating new scientific discovery, and avoiding unnecessary duplication of scientific efforts. Nowadays, there is an increasing number of funders and publishers requiring research data to be made openly available. Researchers are expected to share their data publicly unless there is a legitimate reason not to.
